- Here are some facts about the Bess Bug
- The bess beetle is in Coleoptera (order), Passalidae (family), Passalus (genus)
- They mostly live in tropical areas and in North America
- Most Bess Bugs have a short horn sticking out of their head
- They eat and live under decaying wood
- These bugs have big and strong mandibles (Jaw), but they do not bite
